Our team were recently touched by the fundraising efforts of a local mother Helen Browne and we have donated £100 to the Run for Orla appeal.
Mrs Browne has setup a virtual running fundraiser in memory of her baby daughter Orla who died at Shooting Star Chase (SSC) children’s hospice in Guildford.
Run for Orla is looking to raise money for the SSC who helped Orla, who was born with Jeune Syndrome, which affected her bones and meant her chest could not grow normally, meaning her lungs would not develop as they should.
Mrs Browne, who is also training for the London Marathon, has already raised nearly £5,000 for SSC and we thought this was a wonderful local cause, so our team got together to make a donation.
Our team at Gibson Hewitt would like to wish Mrs Browne and everyone taking part in Run for Orla the best of luck with their fundraising for SSC.
