Chris Warner has begun a year-long work placement with Gibson Hewitt.

The firm, based in West Byfleet, has offered work placement opportunities to two pupils of Fullbrook School who have been spending a fortnight each with the firm learning more about how it helps local companies.

They also gained experience of working in a busy office environment and gained an insight into the local business community and the issues it faces.

This month they have been joined by Chris Warner, a student at Portsmouth University who is to complete a one year placement with Gibson Hewitt as part of his studies.

During his time with the firm he will support its dedicated team of business recovery professionals and insolvency practitioners with their day-to-day work.

Lynn Gibson, Managing Director at Gibson Hewitt, said: “We are delighted to have so many young people joining our firm to learn more about what we do and gain an insight into the professional working world.

“I would like to thank them all for their work and I hope they have each gained something useful from their time at our practice.”

Every year Gibson Hewitt offers similar opportunities to local students, both from the university and several comprehensive schools.

This provides them with a deeper understanding of the profession and what a career in insolvency and business recovery might entail.

“We feel it is important to give back to the local communities in which we work and live. We are very proud of our ongoing commitment to help young people into a professional career,” added Lynn.
