Gibson Hewitt teams up with national accountancy association to help businesses with restructuring
We have recently worked with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to prepare a useful guide intended to help businesses turn their fortunes around.
The 15-page guide covers the entire process for restructuring a business, from underperformance, through to distress before finally exploring how a business can recover.
Co-produced by the ICAEW and our team, it also promotes the importance of early action and is being shared online by Gibson Hewitt to help local companies who may be struggling.
A number of staff members at Gibson Hewitt have received training from the ICAEW, which accredits the UK’s highly skilled Insolvency Practitioners and Chartered Accountants.
Speaking about the new booklet, Lynn Gibson, our Director at Gibson Hewitt said: “We felt very honoured when the ICAEW asked to team up with us to prepare this guide and share it with businesses in Surrey and beyond.
“Recognising and then dealing with a business that is in distress is never easy, but this guide is certainly a very useful starting point for those who are struggling to recover their company and really demonstrates the value of seeking professional advice.”
Along with our useful guides, we have also produced a number of insightful videos that cover a variety of topics.
