Staff and directors at Surrey-based business recovery and insolvency practice, Gibson Hewitt, have been recognised at this year’s TRI Awards for their expertise in business turnaround.
Hailed as one of the most prestigious honours in the insolvency profession, the TRI (Turnaround, Recovery and Insolvency) awards celebrate the best professionals and firms in the UK.
Judges at the awards ceremony, at the glamorous Hilton Bankside in London, declared Gibson Hewitt as a winner of the Turnaround Firm of the Year category after they were impressed with the work that the firm did and the high esteem in which they are held by their clients.
This latest win places the firm alongside some of the leading practices in the UK and Lynn Gibson, Director at the firm described receiving the trophy, which was presented by comedian Ed Byrne, as a highlight of her career.
“We have had a very successful year and handled matters for a wide range of clients from a variety of sectors, but to have this success recognised nationally by our peers is a real honour,” said Lynn.
